Yes, I have SX474-0602 and I'm skewed. Am I permanently skewed?
Would version 3.11 of the software help me?

Hi SU...
You just need to Re-Format your card any time you want.
The will automatically adjust the skew back to "0" where it starts over again. Its a Non-Permanent skew.
Just a nuisance...

Thanks! That tells us SX474-0602 doesn't do anything for the skew problem.

Version 3.11 doesn't seem to have fixed the skew problem either.

Did your two nights with skew show up in 5-minute view, or only in the finer-detailed views, such as 10-second?
They showed up in all views, but a 4 second skew in the 8 hr view is almost impossible to detect.

SU, are your event markers skewed in 10-second view? If so, are the event markers to the right or left of when the event ended on the flow graph? Is the skew evident in 5-minute view?
For last night, my start and end times for flow graph vs. the other graphs are different (as they have been), but my event marker (one central apnea) is lined up with flow in 10-second view. No skew.

I've been using my S9 Autoset since April 16th, with the supplied Resmed SD card, so its over 2 months now and I have had no instances of data skew.
Cheers,
Bill

Sorry for the delay. I had to check with my tech support who said my event markers are very noticeably right-skewed in 5-minute view.
(Weird that I'm not getting topic notifications when there are updates to this, and some other, threads...)

Thanks for that SX 474-0602 data point.
ww wrote:I have SX 474-0602 with 65 days operation there is no noticeable skew from flow to obstructive or central events! The card is as originally installed over two months ago. Maybe the firmware revision fixed the problem and I have yet to see the skew.
And thanks for that input! Well, it now appears SX 474-0602 does not address the data-skew problem after all---based on SU's experience.

Cheers, Bill! I'm hoping my machine continues to behave as well as it does. So far I'm very happy with it.

Here's an interesting data-skew
onset pattern I noticed on the machine I had mentioned on page one:
- June 2: no right-shifted data skew that night or prior
- June 3: machine was not used
- June 4: noticeable right-shifted skew shows up---the problem appears with that night's 1st recorded event

Yesterday I got a new S9 Auto, just checked and mine is SX 474-0601. I don't yet have software to track this problem. Mine most have been has been sitting in a warehouse a bit longer than some machines.
Cheers.

Early users had reported that their S9 software version (shown on the Clinical Info Menu on the S9's LCD screen) is SX474-0601. They have apparently updated that, because my version is SX474-0602. It'd be interesting to know what changes were made!
This is the procedure that I've been following since Day 1:
• Wake up and get coffee
• After making coffee, etc. (takes at least 10 minutes), remove card from S9 machine
• Hold down On/Off button for 3 seconds to turn machine off
• Switch off machine at the power strip
• Insert SD card into computer's built-in card reader
• Make a back-up of the card in a special folder labeled by date (just in case...)
• Open ResScan
• Download Data (rejecting duplicate data), Save, and Exit ResScan
• Eject SD card by right-clicking on drive in “My Computer”
• Replace card into the switched-off S9
• When ready for bed, turn on the machine
I'll report here if the skew does show up for me. I do check the data every day, including 5- and 10-minute detailed views, as shown in the graph posted here by -SWS. Everything has lined up perfectly, so far.
