No, not planets. But I work amongst a bunch of brainiacs in a technical field and I appreciate and can identify with Slartybartfast's self-effacing character.

Would you please send me the link to the ResScan 3.12 software? I plan to get this machine in the a few days. I really would like to learn more about what is happening, especially so I can have a “real discussion” with my doctor.

First post here. Just got my S9 this afternoon replacing my 4 year old Respironics Remstar. I am very excited at the prospect of being able to evaluate my own data.

Can someone PM me the link to the software? I have WinXP but would be very happy if there is a Mac version.

Thanks.

Hi everybody thanks for all your posts I have learned at lot as a newbie to all this stuff.

My question is with the s9 software can you backup your current settings and then if dont like the changes you make are you able to just reload the backup to go back where you started?
If so would it be possible to get the download link please Uncle Bob.
Thanks
Ian

Ian, I don't think that's possible (backing up current settings and reloading them via the ResScan software.) Before making settings changes, I'd suggest simply walking through the entire clinical menu, writing down every word you see in the display window. All of it.

Plain old fashioned pencil and paper method. Methodically.

If you don't like changes you try, you've got a record of all the current settings for your machine.

Providing the paper doesn't get lost.

Download Resmed ResScan 3.12, you can find the link by Uncle Bob's signature. There is an sd card in the upper left hand corner of the rear of your S-9, Push in on card, it will click out about 1/8 inch, grasp card and pull it out, insert it into a generic card reader, just like the one used for a digital camera sd card, some puters have a card reader on the front by a usb port. I put a 1/2 inch tab of scotch tape on the end of the card to grasp it easier, I kinda got club fingers and had a hard time removing the card. Open the program you downloaded, click "new patient", fill in personal info, press "download", then on the screen that pops up press "select", click "all summary data and most recent detailed", on the bottom of that window click on "set these as my default options", plug in card and click on "download data", click on "discard" when option appears. Enjoy, john
