I have used Rescan 3.40 with Windows XP. Now I have Windows 7 and cannot install this version of Rescan.
Could anybody help me?

I've got your link (thanks a bunch!), but have not yet downloaded the software since my hubby still has to get the computer that will be used for this set up. [That happens this weekend!] If I have trouble installing, will I be able to uninstall and then redownload the software a second time?

ResScan usually installs easily. But if you need to, there's no reason why you can't uninstall, redownload, and reinstall.

Be sure to uninstall via the Control Panel. Don't just delete the program.

This is my first post here. Great forum!

I've just been dx with mild OSA. Last night was first night on APAP - went very well.

Anyway, I downloaded ResScan 3.11 from Uncle_Bob's link (thank you), but it won't install on my Win7HPx64 PC. It extracts then the PC freezes, and I have to hot boot. There is no indication in Control Panel of it having been installed (so I can't uninstall whatever it might have left behind).

Any one have suggestions for successfully installing ResScan?

The program files on Windows 7 x64 are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\ResMed and the data files in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\ResMed. You might try deleting these folders (and all of their contents) if they exist and then try to install again.

ResScan 3.11 installed with no problems on my Dell laptop running Windows 7 Professional x64.

Apparently my Windows Installer is corrupted. I'm working to repair it without having to do a clean install (arghhh).

I've been using the S9 for about 6 months now. Would like to see more data than the simplified stats on the machine. Could someone PM me with a place to download the 3.11 software?

It will be a treat to have this info readily available, since my current machine (the RemStar Pro with C-Flex) has no readily retrievable data to me.

Everybody needs to be aware changing your own pressures or "playing clinician" as one person put it is really dangerous. Setting pressures too high can have a negative impact on AHI and can lead to central events. As can setting the pressures too low.
Whilst a well informed patient may be good, too much power with not enough knowledge is bloody dangerous. Clinicians are there for a reason. The reason ResMed don't include the software with the units is to stop this sort of behavior.
