If you don't have a problems why the rant?

This entire thread needs to be wiped as it is promoting illegal piracy of software. How about talking about this on the back burner? There are so many 'me too's' that it is making the hair on the back of my head stand on end.
Guys...(and gals) ... there's got to be a better way that is somehow less blatant?
I do not get a woody from the Thanks. I'm just glad to be doing something to help people with their therapy. Other people are also helping to share this information, are you posting childish insults to them also?

The newer versions of ResScan are backwards compatible with older, data-capable machines. I'm using 3.11 with my S8 with problems.

Are you using the data card or the USB cable.
ResScan isn't the best at detecting devices. Try cancelling the download and trying it again. Sometimes the first screen shows no devices detected, but the next screen reveals that the card has been recognized. Other times when the second screen reflects no card if I just let everything sit for a minute the data appears.
ResMed could have done a better job designing the data transfer software.

The USB cable has been more troublesome than the data cards, which are not perfect, either.
You might try searching on "ResScan" and "USB cable" and see what turns up.

thank you uncle bob. Very nice of you to help a stranger. Can I ask one more question? Does the sd card retain the information after I have looked at it on my computer? I need to prove 4 months of compliance for my insurance to purchase my machine
