Total machine hours run, and total hours of use. I misunderstood you and thought you reported your machine gives usage /compliance per night, or per session.Steves396lt1 wrote:Thanks everyone. I will CPAP it tonight, and see what happens. I dont have software yet, but compliance and hour useage.
It does tell me compliance. When I hold the information access button down for a few seconds, it goes into a different screen mode and then I click through it and it tell me hour use age and compliance hours and other items, such as pressures min/max/ramp/ramp time etc. If I had software it would tell me more.ozij wrote:Total machine hours run, and total hours of use. Total machine hours run is when it runs even if there's no person using a mask on the other side of the hose.Steves396lt1 wrote:It does tell me compliance. How long since you set the 420E in APAP mode?Steves396lt1 wrote:I will try the APAP for week and see what happens. I will look into the software for this system too. I am not paying a 100 dollars for it though.

By total hours of use I mean total hours of you using the machine with your mask on. That is compliance.
You are abolutely right: The Silverlining software will let you have far more info than the screen.

Which settings did you give the machine?
How often did you run into a sudden rise in pressure?
Is this machine new, or used?
What is the IFL1 set on?

To see if I could avoid a sudden rise in pressure, but still enjoy APAP mode I would make the following changes:Steves396lt1 wrote:Just curious if higher pressure with your machine reduces snoring tendencies?
I have a new machine too, 420E, and I have gone two days with a cool 17 hours use, 2 hours compliance. I have watched after 15 minutes to see the compliance symbol show, went to bed and nothing last night.
Now, My wife says I snore even with the mask, which is a full face Mirage Quattro.
Any suggestions. Yes I have searched, and the search engine provides thousands of related issues. None specific.
