Thanks for the link. I think very little of him, but his influence on people is large, so I just wrote him encouraging him to rethink his position re the viewing audience and also his own health.

I saw the show today too and it is a shame that he isn't using it. During their viewer email segment they read several from people encouraging him to use his CPAP. One of the viewers said that she too can tell when he uses it and when he doesn't.

Sent Regis a note via the link provided (thanks).
I hope he starts back up with his treatment.
PS: I think the joke about Regis being on-line here was funny!! He's a known luddite (see here:

I did that yesterday after I read Rooster's original post. I also invited him to this forum if he needs help (or a kick in the pants) to get back on the hose.
I never watch him but was disappointed to hear he'd quit using it......in view of his previous health conditions and the people who may be influenced by his (stupid) decision.

I have to give Regis credit. How someone with sleep apnea can keep his schedule with an early morning show as well as his other ventures, and without the benefit of youth, says he's made out of tough stuff, or at least has some grit. It's carried him a long way, but unfortunately may have given him a false sense of security. Hope we soon hear of a "change of heart" from Regis. I would think with his history of heart disease he'd be highly motivated to succeed at cpap.
