Hi Steve, welcome! Glad you found the forum...you'll get lots of good information and support here. I'm a bit of a newbie myself, having been on cpap for about a month now.

A couple of suggestions...check with your insurance company and see if they have a grace period for trying a new mask. My window was 30 days and I took advantage of it, as my first mask caused a really bad blister on the bridge of my nose. I now use the Quattro and have been very pleased with it.

You might consider trying a product from http://www.padacheek.com. I have the mask liner and it has made a big difference for me. I found that I could actually keep the mask a bit looser while using the liner, thus preventing pain/pressure problems.

Good luck to you!
