You are right they are fast, a couple of times I thought the machine was shooting at me I was awaken breathing like a small cat I guess and I received a round of 3 fast pulses of pressure, that was weird.

I think now the moral of this history is: the ones who know they have shallow breathing problems need to put OFF the ramp and choose one of the Flex options.

Once I tried just for the sake of curiosity one of the Flex only like that and I felt like I had an vacuum cleaner sucking the air form my lungs, really special feeling I don't need Flex at my pressure! If you are at low pressure stop playing with ramp and Flex

I don't think downloading it will save the data, but I'm not sure. I think you need to save it once you download it (e.g., as a PDF file) on your computer. Otherwise I think next time you download data, you'll see the waveform symbol next to the last two days that were downloaded. Not sure, though.

I don't think those test pulses have anything to do with ramp. I think that as you doze off, you tend to have more central apneas, and it doesn't know what kind of apneas they are unless it sends those test puffs.

no, it keeps all the waveforms. So if you downloaded your card to your computer every day, you would have the waveform reports for every day. Once on the computer, they are safe.

I agree blakepro. Once I have downloaded them they stay there even after future downloads. I create the PDFs also though and save them on a flash drive as a backup.
