Hi dd, Unfortunately, because the DME only downloaded at the end of the 2 week trial, there are just 2 days of detailed data. Cheers,

Interesting news Muse, thanks for posting. All sounds reasonable. I agree the stress might be overwhelming and affecting sleep. Melatonin 3-4 hours before bed is working very well for me. I hope increasing the thyroid meds works for you.

BB, I liked your statement regardless of what Muffy says I too agree that it's just too easy to acquire and eat food in this society, and combined with the philosophy of house->garage->car->parking lot->work it's too easy NOT to get movement. I was commuting 3+ hours and working 11+ hours a day and there was NO way I could get any exercise, too tired in the evenings and too sleepy and rushed in the mornings, and at work we were always "too busy" and people watching your every move.... It's not a nice lifestyle. I too would rather have a job that actually made me expend energy, rather than sitting at a desk all day. We've also pondered the bicycle-powered TV/lights/oven concepts at home

By the way, there is one benefit that became apparent to me very early on in my CPAP useage, and its not sleep related. Quite remarkable, especially considering there is no sildenafil setting on any of the machines that I have been issued with to date.

By George, the treatment *MUST* be working

Hi echo, Quite a challenge to keep one in trim physical condition! Maybe one needs to: http://users.adam.com.au/sixsome/flow.jpg, eh? Cheers,

I had to look that one. Congratulations! Definitely no tights photos. Please.

I meant the raw data file so I could browse the data, but I guess you don't have that for the S9.

How about an ASV file?

dd

Hi dd, Here is an ASV file for your perusal: http://users.adam.com.au/sixsome/ASV/05 ... 100510.rlk. Cheers,

Great, thanks.

I see you have some fairly stable breathing in there:

I was hoping the S9 parameters would be added to your ASV (being it's from "over there"), but I guess that ain't happening yet.

What's the chance of getting the S9 file?

dd

I will ask my former DME if any of the S9 DLs are still saved and if they will give them to me. Will be early next week if its going to happen. Cheers,

Which S9 parameters are you after?

If I were in your shoes, I'd start taking omega 3 EFAs (essential fatty acids); they achieve the same psychoactive results as the SSRIs without the side effects. Think I've read a few abstracts that say they can be taken at the same time without causing problems, thus are supportive while weaning off the SSRI and dealing with any drug withdrawal problems (investigate before trying this, my memory's got holes )
Hi M-I, Interesting advice. I have read a bit about the benefits of omega 3s to mental health in the past. In fact I have a big container of fish oil capsules in my cupboard that I used to periodically sample without any continuity or conviction. I'll do some more investigation. I like the idea of your suggestion though; I have never liked taking fluoxetine because it reminds me of the fluorine-containing nasties that I use in my physics research! Cheers,

Unbelievably moronic thing to say.

brain_cloud,

An answer that others of us could understand or share in would be more helpful.
Can you summarize briefly the issue of one vs the other ?

Tks

Do the investigation. It's like the decades of selling of saturated fats and/or cholesterol as a cause of cardiovascular events...as you said, moronic. 20+ yrs of studies disprove that assumption yet big pharma still has a stanglehold on public perception and yes that includes docs who simply don't have time (or, in some cases, the desire) to read the research.
