With this new info I think you should contact your doctor NOW. Let the doc. decide its side effects fo the drugs. If you can't get hold of him, go to an ER.

Here's your list of symtoms:

• Loss of balance
  Bllinding Headache
  Feeling tired
  Losing control of your hand in way that makes you break 6 glasses in 2 days

I really don't want to frighten you, but I - a lay person - think those could just as well be symptoms of transient ischemic accidents -- something may indeed be happening in your brain.

You need a doctor to make the decision, neither you, nor I. Nothing would make my happier than being wrong.

I'll repeat: Get a professional to see you now.

Thanks Ozij, unfortunately my regular GP is away for the long Easter weekend here. Headaches have reduced and no further dizzy spells this afternoon which is a good thing. I'm going to go to a walk in centre if it starts to get any worse again.

My blood pressure is fine and pulse is fine, no palpitations and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the meds and some inbalance going on with these meds. This isn't the first time I've had this, I've had this before and it's worn off after a few days. The meds side effects can cause the headaches, dizziness and Parkinson's disease gives the tremors. Whether the Centrals are also linked I'm not sure as this is the first time though I've had Centrals appear when I've felt like this. It may just be a coincidence with the Centrals.

Last night on the national news, was a story about Parkinson's. A doctor had a patient that could hardly walk and even fell, but insisted he could ride a bicycle. They took him to the parking lot, put him on a bike, and he did indeed ride the bike. Not only that, but he made a U turn in the parking lot and hopped of the bike. Other tests have been done with Parkinson's that show simular results. They do not now exactly what is happening but do see positive results. You might want to run this by your Dr as a supplement to your treatment. Not suggesting this will replace current therapy, but it might be worth looking into.

Dave, we have a very close family member with Parkinson's and OSA. Every time the Neuro changes his meds his data changes for a few weeks and it becomes much more erratic than yours, then settles down again. He does keep in touch with his Dr during these times. Glad you're feeling better.

Thanks DoriC that's good to hear! I'm pretty sure how I'm feeling is all down to the meds changing as I've been here before. Sometimes it does happen without changing the meds, but wasn't sure about the Centrals appearing. I was kind of hoping it might not be linked, but the more I think about it the more plausible it sounds, hopefully they'll subside. I'll keep in touch with the doc, thanks!

All of the auto algorithms DO NOT WORK unless you are asleep and breathing autonomously.

This effect was due to exercise, in this case, on a stationary bike under supervision. The images were pretty amazing.

Great news is I feel less like a zombie today and all my Centrals have now gone, they're back to Hypopneas. No headache, just a minor brain fog today Hopefully I'll have the energy to go out today and do something nice I eased off the PD medication a little bit and think that might be helping. Going to see my doc after the long weekend and try to get this sorted.

How does the software know you're breathing autonomously without the supplemental data used in sleep studies?

Dave, after working for neuros for many years, I can say without a doubt that finding the right balance of meds to do the job vs adding in all kinds of unwanted side effects is a big problem in Parkinson's. You're not alone by a mile and Dori's note was on track. You might just not yet have experienced the roller coaster ride it CAN (but not necessarily will) become and that's not to say it can't be a problem just one time vs a rocky future - plus improvements show up every day in medicine.
