Did anyone ever come up with an affordable yet simple way to get the S9 SPO2 devices to integrate?

Yes, very interested, too.
What happened to the images in the posts?
All there is is an "Image", but the actual image is missing.
In case they got lost during website updates, did anybody save them to kindly upload again?
Please?
Thank you!

casadelane, the link to the images are broken. Would you please post updated links to these as I am about to attempt your hack.

His last post was over 3 years ago. Don't expect a reply.

Here is a link to the kit. There are other sources.
ResMed Oximetry Kit
The ResMed number is 369100.

Be prepared for sticker shock. A video I saw the other day said the price for the interface module is about $150, then the interface cable and oximeter are well over $500! It could be wrong, but made me like my little Contec 50E just a little more

Ebay had the unterminated Nonin 3211 oximeters:
http://www.nonin.com/documents/ipod%20S ... ations.pdf.
* TTL Output
* RS-232 Output
Code: Select all
SERIAL DATA FORMAT #1:
1) Serial format 9600, n, 8, 1
2) Rate Sends 3 bytes of data once a second.
3) Data
1st byte = Status
BIT 7 = ALWAYS SET TO "1"
BIT 6 = SENSOR DISCONNECTED, SET IF TRUE
BIT 5 = OUT OF TRACK, SET IF TRUE
BIT 4 = LOW PERFUSION, SET IF TRUE
BIT 3 = MARGINAL PERFUSION, SET IF TRUE
BIT 2 = BAD PULSE, SET IF TRUE
BIT 1 = HEART RATE BIT 8
BIT 0 = HEART RATE BIT 7
2nd byte = Heart Rate (511 = bad data) BIT "7" IS ALWAYS SET TO "0".
HEART RATE DATA = BITS 0 - 6
PLUS BITS 0 & 1 OF THE STATUS BYTE TO PROVIDE 9 BITS OF RESOLUTION.
3rd byte = SpO2 (127 = bad data)
I am wondering if the adapter either accepts or outputs the serial protocol described above. If yes and the terminals for data, power and ground were defined, maybe the 3211 would work with the S9.
Is there anything that would prevent connecting 3211 oximeter to the adapter or directly to the CPAP?
UPDATE:
The XPOD specs indicate
http://www.nonin.com/documents/IFUManua ... %20ENG.pdf several communication modes (pp 6). If we knew that data format 1 was selected then it may work.

After a bit of research, the closest connector I could find to this one is the Conxall/Switchcraft 18282-3PG-315 Micro-Con-X connector.

That or the Switchcraft EN2C3F20DC connector.
