I have a Mac, so does this mean it won't do me any good? I'd like to have info about how I'm doing. I'm less than 3 months on it and would like to see how well/bad things are. If I can use it would someone send me the info, please.

You'll have to install windows on something like parallels or vmware, then install ResScan 3.10. If your intel-based mac has at least 4MB RAM, you may be able to do this.

I've just completed a month testing with a S8 Autoset and purchased a Resmed S9 AutoSet. I'm interested in trying to learn more about my apnea and how this CPAP treatment works with it. Both my doctor (Family GP) and the RT at the local DME supplier (Vitalaire) aren't very helpful in teaching/following up with me. Personally I don't think my doctor knows much about these machines at all (old-school type I guess.). Can someone send me the link to the Resmed software? Hopefully this will be a good stepping stone to learning what constitutes a good night vs. a bad one. The S9 doesn't seem to provide much information beyond AHI / Leak / Pressure etc. I'm also trying to lose some weight in hopes it will help me in the future, perhaps even stop requiring this machine.

Any advice in reading the software graphs etc. would be most welcome!

Thanks for all your support and answers to my many unasked questions!! (I've been lurking since I was diagnosed)

I'd like a link to the software too. I will say that the S9 with Swift FX is light years ahead of the older Remstar Auto with Activa. Though when I wasn't paying attention the original DME sold me a Comfortcurve for $250. What a deal!

My daughter turned me on to this forum. I am so glad she did!
S9 AutoSet w. H5i humidifier and ClimateLine tubing on the way.
Now, like everyone else on this thread, I need to get the 3.10 SW and the manual.
This should be included with the machine -- or ResMed should at least adopt a system of codes plus a web site similar to what DeVilbiss provides for the IntelliPAP.

So, if someone could PM me with the info I would REALLY appreciate it!

Thanks

P.S. I will be running this on a Mac under Parallels.
