This was my first time sharing information on cpaptalk. I didn't know that you would get chastise for offering real advices and although, I wish I was in medical sales assure you that I'm neither a sales rep or shamelessly trying to promote F & P products. All of my information is based off of research and actual cpap use.
After finding out that I had OSA and with my allergies and tendency to dry out I did my research when choosing a product with the best humidification. As I said I'm currently in the market for a new machines and have been doing my research again to find out what has changed and improved in cpap with humidity. Resmed says its self that they deliver 80% relative humidity at the temp it is set where as the F & P machines deliveries 100% relative humidity or absolute humidity at all settings. Therefore F & P's is still the best but Im sure you will be fine with the S9.
I'm not trying to endorse one machines over another but in terms of Humidity which was the basis of the original question by bdwalters, F & P has the proven technology that have been out for several years and has proven at least to me not to fail and deliver great humidity with no rainout.
Please, use what ever machine you like and feel good on. Happy breathing.
