Talk about something serious. Go check that web site that lists the greatest genocides of all times - there were over 100 million slaughtered in the 20th century by governments - not a greedy corporation on the list.
BTW, I have been doing business with BofA and holding their credit cards for 38 years and have never paid a single cent of interest nor spent a single night in their "debtors prisons".
While you are researching, check why companies are planting so much corn - it is because the government is stealing from the citizens and using their money to subsidize corn production and ethanol production. If the corn producers had to compete without the government subsidies they would freely choose to do something besides plant corn.
But if you insist. It is quite easy to Google this stuff up but one simple ongoing example is the roll of oil companies with genocide in the Sudan (and hopefully also brings topic back to environment ).

As I mentioned earlier ... governments are merely tools used by mega-multi-national corporations.

And as for the jesting ... Yea right. Like credit card companies offering special "student" credit cards. It is like giving students a special keg of beer and then telling them to drink responsibly.
If mega-banks really had good business intentions, they would only offer "fixed" rate interest credit (just try and find a "true" fixed rate interest card these days ... they no longer exist) based on the ability of the consumer to pay and credit limits based on their credit worthiness. Instead they practice nothing short of loan sharking that would give the mafia weak knees. Even your holiest of heros had reason to chase the money-lenders from the temple.
I agree with you completely on the corn. Big-agra (and all other mega-corporations) should never be given government entitlements which they turn around and use to buy government politicians for more public $$.
