I'm sure I saw those mountains moving over the horizon last night... It must have been DoriC again.

It was like moving mountains to finally get an appointment with my hair dresser for this Thurs. I'm going to have the "works"! Thanks to everyone, all the kind words keep me going.

I've been waiting to finally be able to post that Mike's wound has finally almost closed and just a daily cleansing and small bandage is all that is required until next week. To emphasize how cpap treatment with optimum oxygen levels and restful sleep helped with healing, here's the comparison with this 5th identical surgery to the previous ones. All the others took between 5-8months to close with complications of reinfection in some cases, and this one on cpap took only 7 WEEKS with no problems along the way! We're still not celebrating until the Dr and VN actually close the case and I can get rid of our little "hospital room" setup but we're getting the balloons ready!! Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and encouragement! You're the Best!

That is fantastic news, Dori! You and Mike must be so relieved that this episode is almost over. It's so very encouraging to hear how much of a positive effect xPAP can have in allowing the body to function properly and heal the way it should. That is an ENORMOUS difference in healing time compared to the past surgeries!
Many blessings to you both!

Dori --
I am so, so glad to hear this. And what a testament to good sleep and good oxygen levels having a bearing on a very serious situation.
Congratulations!!

Dear Dori,
I think it was a combination of your skillful, tender loving care and the cpap providing the air we so need. We are all waiting for the day when you tell us that Mike is well, his wound is healed and you can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
How was the hairdresser?
Love,
Jersey Girl
