Salve for nursing moms...or as some here put it
nipple grease ! Works for many; use a tiny, tiny dab as it's pretty thick & sticky. Didn't work for me.
Y'all having probs with the Liberty that ya can't resolve, try the RespCare Hybrid as it fits much, much differently.

Same problems also with leaks from the mouth piece. No problem with the nasal pillows as I am use to nasal pillows. BTW one Mirage Liberty mask for sale.

Tried the Hybrid and didn't like it at all.
Of course, mask fitting is very individual. One person's perfect fit can be another person's nightmare.

Me too I have the same problem with leaks with the mouth piece, the nasal pillows have no leak. I have try to adjust it with no avail.
I don't know what will be the end that mask because I'm not able to stand nasal pillows I tied the Swift and I gave up, my sinuses where feeling like congested almost the whole day after each night of using it.

grady61- I really hope you have good results with the liberty! i have had two amazing nights with it! last night, i slept for darn close to 8 hours, without getting up once! unheard of!! my leak rate was .10L/s, my AHI was 4.4 and my AI was 1.3. I am just thrilled! And, I sleep on my side and stomach, and I was quite comfy all night.
I hope you have success! Let us know!

So when you move on your side it doesn't start to leak? I guess not because you never got up. Those look like pretty good numbers. How tight did you make the straps? It's great to hear when things work.
I really want to keep mine for a backup mask, so I am going to give it another try.

Nope, that is one of the reasons that I am so happy with this mask. I was using the quattro before, and every time I moved onto my side, I had problems with leaks. With the liberty, I am not having that problem!
I have the bottom straps fairly snug, but not tight enough to leave red marks.
I hope you are able to give it another try and find some success! Keep us posted!

Don't forget to caution everyone that the first few times you put nipple grease on your nose...it MIGHT make you feel like a boob!
(Ah, that line NEVER gets old! Unfortunately...)
One more thing: If you find the pillow popping out of your nostril at higher pressure, you MAY have too much nipple grease. A little goes a long way. Although others report good results by packing it like a wheel bearing. YMMV

I tried it again last night with lansinoh, but I guess I put too much. The pillows were moving like crazy.
Guys, Does the bottom strap bother any one? I feel like is extreme tight on my back neck, even when it is not, because I am able to put a finger easily between the strap and my face.

Melissa,
I would just like to say please be very careful with the top straps and those tiny clip holders on the mask, they are very fragile and prone to breaking. I just wanted to warn you to be careful as I don't want your new mask experience to end in tears.
Cheers

LOL thought I broke mine yesterday before I even tried it on. They are pretty cheesy.

grady61 - YEAH!!! So thrilled to hear that you slept so well! Doesn't it feel amazing to sleep? Who knew, right?
Uncle_Bob- Thanks for the warning re: the straps and clips. I noticed that they feel pretty flimsy and you are so right, I would be in tears if they broke. I was actually thinking of going on cpap.com and ordering some replacement pieces to have on hand just in case, after reading so many other reports of people having problems with them breaking. I shouldn't have to do that, but....
LinkC -LOL!!!
