Hi jbaja37 ---you have to use the strap covers made by Karen to keep those strap marks from appearing on your face every morning. I used to get them too but went on the website PAD A CHEEKS and she makes them specifically for the SWIFT LT straps --they are really reasonalby priced but made VERY, VERY Well --you cannot buy a better product --check out her website --you can get them in different colors and patterns--:) The flimsy little covers that come with the mask are totally useless.

Sleepin'Jax-----my insurance company gave me an APria 800 number to call them. When I call that 800 number --they only handle Cigna people that use APria for CPAP supplies. I do have a local branch that I can go to--I just prefer to call and have it shipped to my doorstep. I work during the day so going to a DME and waiting around is a waste of time for me ---Hope you have better luck!!

I read the reviews for the Swift FX on CPAP.COM
They were not good. The little mask has 2 stars out of 5 (5 being good)

I just checked and it's 4.1 out of 5...but there are only 9 reviews so far (obviously this will change over time as it gets more reviews)...needs more time/reviews to be really representative.

Can anyone else who've used both the LT/LT-Her & FX comment on whether they needed to go down one pillow size with the FX? I'm using the LT/Her with small pillows and am wondering if FX small will be too big for me. Also, I couldn't wear the old Opus 360 pillows due to the angle being "off" for my face. I do periodically use the angle adjustment on the LT. It looks like there's no way to adjust pillow angle on the FX. Is there any way to adjust the angle on the FX?

I just got my FX last night (from cpap.com) and wore it shortly thereafter. Unlike most masks I've tried, this one didn't intimidate me as far as putting it together. Since I use somewhere between a medium and large pillow, I figured I'd start with the pre-attached size medium. No fiddling or adjusting (other than setting the straps) and it worked beautifully! When I first started CPAP it was with the Swift II and that one worked well mostly but the pillows were a little flimsy and didn't seem to last very long. The LT didn't work for me at all. The Opus 360 looked really good but again, didn't work too well for me.

I won't do a review on cpap.com until I've used it longer but it is looking very good so far It feels so light compared to my usual CL2! I still need to check my stats also.

Thanks Mindy for your input so far on the Swift FX---it looks like it would be very comfortable right out of the bag! Glad to hear that you like it so far---I think I might get one next month instead of my Swift Lt for her.

So far so good I find that when I roll around from side to back and vice versa that I don't seem to end up with leakage. I've hardly adjusted it and still good. It feels so unconfining yet light and sturdy. A winner so far -- and I didn't even need to read the instructions.

I do suspect that it's like any other mask - it probably won't work for everyone but I'm one happy camper!

Hi Mindy ---well that is great news about the FX!! I have been a Swift LT for her user for quite awhile now and have been so happy with it. When the FX came out I was thinking--well, could it be even better than my "for her"? LOL! Well I am glad that you have good news and that you are happy with it. What size nasal pillows are you using?

I am still working on mouth leaks, but the Swift FX is by far the most comfortable mask I've had (compared to Mirage Quattro, Mirage Liberty, Innomed Hybrid, Headrest Nasal Pillows). Leaks are not a problem. The device itself is very quiet, which is a nice change from my Darth Vader-esque headrest mask. I really like the silicon-based straps, as well. Overall, I would rate it A+.

A one-week update on the Swift FX: overall I'm very happy with this mask. Like any mask, it's not perfect but there are many pluses. It's very lightweight; I, too, like the silicone straps and find they make it much easier to get (and keep) a good adjustment. Most nights when I switch around from side-to-side or back-to-side, the FX stays in place very well.

The downsides: very few. Last night I did end up with a big leak for the first time after I had made some small adjustments when I put it on. So I think that when it works, it's best not to mess with it

An early concern I had was whether inserting the small flexible hose into the nasal pillows would cause damage sooner. I finally watched the Swift FX video on cpap.com and quickly figured out how to do it without stretching things out so much.

I should also note that I plug the small flexible hose into the Activa short flexible hose which is then inserted into the main hose (a heated hose). I do that to minimize the drag on the small hose and also to avoid wearing out the end of the heated hose too quickly.
