I need one of those!

*And I wish I knew how to "play" with photos like that. Very creative, DreamOn!

Perhaps this picture should be posted on the Wiki for newbies. They can then know the proper way to wear their almuminum hat when going to their DME. It's also not a secret, just tell the DME outright that the hat is to prevent them from reading your thoughts, Now just give me the machine I want and I will be out of here.

You can have one too, BB! Cost is $19.95. Cash only. Specify preference for blue light, white light, red light, or no light. Offer valid for a limited time only. Void where prohibited by law.
Thanks! I'll have to find out if it's legal in Arizona to "foil" my DME's dastardly intentions before I submit my order.

Oh, and is it possible to have one made-to-order, with ALL of the lights on it? I need all the protection I can get! I'll pay extra.

A new and improved version of the "Blue Light Special Tin Foil Hat", incorporating suggestions from you both. Three different lights for Bleeping Beauty (for extra protection) and a special anti-mind-reading device for Gerry (to prevent the DME from reading his thoughts).

(It is legal in all 48 contiguous United States (which includes Arizona). Not sure about Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Australia, Mexico, China, India, or anywhere else in the world.)

Isn't subverting a DME considered a public service? That would entitle you to an extra light on the helmet.

NO NO NO my friends!
I have it from reliable sources that Respironics tin foil hats are a foil, and fry your your brains!!!!
They're part of the Industry / DME conspiracy!!!
Please DreamOn -- they may cause terrible combustion when used with other other companies' masks!

Organically grown staw hats, are much better for all purposes.

Sorry, there is no more room on the hat for another light. It would topple over, and then be ineffective for its intended purpose.

(I think that Ozij may be an Industry plant. Either that, or she's worn a tin foil hat too long, fried her brains and has gone cuckoo. )

Me? A male? See what happens when you use Respironics tin foil hats? You lose the ability to distinguish the most basic thing in life...

Oops! Um...so sorry, ozij. Fixed. Perhaps I have been wearing the hat too long -- or maybe not enough. Or maybe I need to get my eyes checked, huh?

Why the need for something preventing DMEs to read customers' minds?

I've had the impression they can't even read their own minds. They seem to need a tin foil hats and
lead cubicles to be able to concentrate on what, again, was essential both in business and for customers.

D. M. E= Drastic Medical Experiment. They're clearly behind the conspiracy. I bet the initials even have numerological significance.

I hung up. Had to have been an alien!!
