Could not agree more. I doubted you would answer, as the question I posed requires knowledge and thought.
Perhaps you should stick with surfing the internet and reading comic books.
Sounds like we may not be your type of crowd... so why are you here again?

Why, thank you. Mr. Troll! We try. Most trolls aren't as nice and mannerly as you, starting out with a compliment like that.
Kilopy wrote: Apparently we have a significant number of people in this chat room (yes, it is a chat room) that think they are attorneys or at the minimum like to practice law without the necessary training.
Yes, we are a significant number, depending on how you measure us, I guess.
But no, this is not a chat room. There is a chat room associated with this board/forum/community/bunch-a-people-postin', but you didn't find it. And they thank you for that, by the way.
And yes, there are a number of attorneys who post here. Smart and kind, too. Not like you trolls.
Kilopy wrote: I happen to be an attorney and economist by training.
Good for you! Think maybe you might pass the bar or find someone who'll pay you something one day?
Kilopy wrote: My initial thoughts (without checking)
Wait. I take it back. Maybe you ARE a practicing attorney!
Amazing, though, how you admit to being guilty of exactly what you are trying to accuse everyone else of. Now THAT'S amusing. And I thank YOU for that! I'm easily entertained, I guess.
Kilopy wrote: Interesting thing about this chat room. A few experts are allowed to express their opinions freely, which are taken as gospel. Others are quickly "slapped down" by the self proclaimed experts.
So, I'm confused--Are you trying to be an "expert" now expressing YOUR opinion freely? Or are you trying to slap everyone else down? Because, from where I sit, you aren't doing a very good job at your sloppy attempts at either one. That is only my opinion, though.
Kilopy wrote: With a masters in Economics in addition to my law degree I'm quite certain i have a better grasp of the issues
And I am certain you do not have a grasp of how to deal with human beings. I also have a sneaking suspician that you, like most trolls, are really a fourteen-year old who is very bored and lonely and just trying to get people to react to you as you pretend to be an adult. And I fell for it. Shame on me.

And now is the time for all of us to deal with more urgent matters - let Mr. Kilopy have the last word, and ignore him. Any further time spent on this person is time take away from people who can use the kind of help we have to offer.

Besides... my understanding is it's supposed to be spelled
Calliope.
Please note I came up with that only after performing an Internet search.

Hi -SWS
As long as it wasn't just a quick scan,
Hi Slinky
Please remember I am your friend, and would never do anything to upset you
Hi jnk -
I loved your last post. Can I take lessons from you?
Hi Ozij
Sorry, I got all weak-willed, and couldn't resist.
It won't happen again

I think I may have taken things too seriously, and I was probably wrong.
Most of the attorneys with degrees in economics in my neighborhood work either for the CIA or for the Mafia (or both). So if no one hears from me again, you'll know what happened.

Jeff, you're a mess!!!
Southerners will recognize that phrase for the affectionate, laughing comment it usually is...in the South.
http://www.tinksmom.com/wordpress/2009/ ... a-redneck/
11. When I was acting silly recently, she told me, “Mama, you’re a mess.”

When someone looks at me if I just made them laugh, and says that phrase with a smile on his/her face, I go away happy. When I tell someone he's a mess, I always mean it fondly. I'm telling him or her,"You're as cute as a button."
When someone says, "You're a mess," and gesticulates, an all-inclusive head-to-toe wave of the hand, without the smile, I tend to balk a little.
To be perfectly clear... Jeff, I'm smiling!! I always love what you say and how you say it.
You're a MESS!!

xiola is correct. This message board (or "internet forum") is not an internet "chat room." It does provide a chat room feature that people can go into (the "_ Chatting Live" button at upper right of the page), but the board itself, where we post and read messages is
not, itself, a "chat room."
http://www.helium.com/items/513135-unde ... and-forums
"Chat rooms are programs that you enter and engage in realtime conversation with others who are using the same program at the same time. Sound confusing? It's really not. When you enter a chat room, you'll see a number of other users online displayed in one of the program's windows. By entering text into a different window, you'll send a message to the room which will be displayed in a third window. All of those users you saw in the first window will see that message. Chat rooms are a great way to talk to multiple people who are online at the same time."
----------------------
"Sometimes the people that you want to talk to have different schedules than you do. Forums are a great way to connect in these cases. There are two important concepts when talking about forums. Threads and posts. When you visit a forum, there will be a long list of topics that revolve around whatever topic the users are talking about. These are called threads. Once you click on a thread title, you'll be directed to a list of one or more posts. You can either write an individual post to an existing thread or create a new thread. If you create a new thread, your message will be the first post in the thread."

jimboutilier wrote:Sadly bureaucracy often trumps a prescription. Providers are not required to fill a prescription at all and are within their rights to not fill a perfectly legal prescription that runs amiss of their rules. The most common cause is an insurance company but where DME is involved its often a matter of policy or contract.
That why I chose an Auto CPAP over a standard CPAP. From what I've read this is not the best solution for everyone but an Auto CPAP set to its full range can avoid the need for many adjustments or follow up sleep studies as long as the therapy remains effective.
But at least to my way of thinking, there's a big difference between saying they can't fill the prescription as written (and therefore not filling it at all) and modifying it to meet their other obligations.
Oh, and thank God they don't give out clinician's manuals to steak knife users! They might try to sharpen them and injure themselves!
Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

Perhaps you should pursue a Master's in punctuation. You ended your "question" with a period. My 8-yo grandson knows better than that.
But then, you also seem to be confused about "forum" and "chatroom"...
