Once this is over you should let others in your profession know what happened. You have a unique situation and can see things from both sides. I am sure you can understand how a few bad apples tarnished the whole bushel full.

I know their are excellent DME's out there. I am lucky to have one of them. But it is like anything else it will take hundreds to fix what one did wrong.

So there is no misunderstanding - the OP is a Sleep Tech not a DME.

To RG's point - a leopard can't just change it's spot's. And there are many leopards in the sleep business.

My intention was not that he was a DME rather to let other rt's know so they have an idea how frustrating it can be. They will have an understanding of how pt's sometimes seem so bent out of shape.

You should call that DME again and insist that thhey DELIVER the correct machine to your dad. Why should he have to keep running to them?

YES!... its now midnight, and i noticed a Missed-call from my fathers cell...

so i call back, and he answered... he appears to sound very strange... i ask him whats going on

he says he is trying to sleep... then it clicked!

yes, yes he did... so all the drama is now finished..... he got his elite II....

now i have to call his insurance and ask how often can he recieve his silicon pieces for the masks.... although he has a crap-ton from myself haha
