Tenpin,

Your pic will come up every time now that you've included it in your profile. If you want to add your name on the list, copy the list by highlighting it with the left button on your mouse and then right click and hit "copy" and then paste it into a new box by opening a new reply and right clicking in the box and choosing "paste." Once it is in the box, you can add your name to the list.

Horrors!!! But here I am. Had to wait for my daughter to send me a photo. Don't really have many of me here. Maybe she will find a better one later. Like the rest of you I don't really like my own photos.

I already mentioned to you on another post how happy I was to see your face, as I'm sure we all are. Thanks so much for posting a photo of yourself. Don't change it (the photo, that is).

PS: Look at all the people who jumped on this one all because of Rock & Roll's suggestion that we just post our real photos. Great idea. It's wonderful to finally see who we're speaking to and that we all left our self-consciousness behind and shared our photos with each other. I love this site!

Not having any luck with posting my picture. Don't have many pics to choose from and they all end up blurry when I reduce the pixels.

I think I am camera shy - actually, I am camera phobic! Would prefer not dealing with the image right now!

It may take me a few days, but I will post a picture soon!

Carla, I've had the most luck with a program DSM recommended called Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm

Just open the photo with it and then click on "Image" at the top, then "Resize/Resample." Once the box open, figure out which is the longest part of your photo, the width or the length. Then put in that box the number 80 (make sure "pixels" is checked off". Then the corresponding box will automatically change to the correct number to maintain the size ratio of the photo. You can also choose the DPI at the bottom, using 72 as a guide. For this site, your photo can't be more than 80 pixels in length or width, so choosing the longest side and putting the 80 in the box assures you won't go over either length or width if you put the 80 in the longest.

When it's done and if you still want to sharpen it up a bit, click on "Image" again and choose, at the bottom, "Sharpen." If you aren't happy with what happens, you can undo it by clicking on "Edit" and then "Undo."

Make sure you save it in JPEG and that's it. Should come out just perfect and it's really easy to do.

Okay, Carla, no more excuses. Or at least you can't use the one where it doesn't come out good anymore .
