The Dreamer.
You are permitted no more than 300ml I believe in a plastic container in carry on OR checked baggage under IATA regs these days. You cannot even bring nail clippers across the border on an airplane. I have had no problems with my handguns and rifles, nor with my high power rockets (one an exact replica of an AMRAAM 4 missile) but they grabbed my nailclippers at the airport. Go figure. Guess I have licenses for the guns and rockets... no license for the nailclippers.

You should not have an issue with distilled water; I buy mine at the drug store (Shoppers Drug Mart) and have yet to see any mineral deposits. Those mineral deposits can be readily removed with CLR by the way... and just plain old vinegar may work as well. I would NOT leave them on the heater plate as they may be vaporizing and getting blown into your lungs.

I wash my gear every weekend when I remember and wipe it all down with green wipes daily after use. So far so good. Last thing I wipe down with the wipe is the exterior of my gear to get the dust and oils off everything. More concerned about them nasty bacteria that put me in hospital on life support last summer for three weeks. And then some.

Why even pay for the Grey Goose?
You can take any cheap Vodka and run it through a Brita filter 3-4 times, and voila! PREMIUM VODKA!
Try it!
Something I learned in University from my Chemistry professor.

Can't always afford to buy the good Vodka, but you can make it

This is potentially serious. We cpap users can use bottled water if we rinse daily and use vinegar on any deposits. However, Automobile type batteries require distilled water. With automobile batteries non-distilled water will significantly reduce the life expectancy of the battery. Please please let corporate headquarters know that they are selling mislabeled distilled water.

Meters that measure total dissolved solids (TDS) are more expensive than most cpappers can justify. However, any person or store that maintains a marine aquarium probably has one and could test a suspicious sample. Distilled water should measure zero TDS.

All water has a shelf life. When it is exposed to light or is beyond the shelf date the water will be pink. I would not worry about distilled water being bad. But if one is concerned there is special distilled water for babies. I think Gerber's markets one brand. Costly but does meet a standard. I use Wal Mart (USA) in my machine and in a fleet of trucks and fork lifts. Never a problem and about 88 cents a gallon.

The Wal Mart is about the cheapest, but that is what I was using when I found mold in the tank.
I think we'll make room for the Sears distiller.
