I'm sooo far behind! I am on my 3rd week and I have just one mask! Funny cause I've been thinking about trying a second and kept talking myself out of it. Maybe now....

Mike & everyone else on this forum,
I found all your insights quite informative, enlightening, as well as delightful. As a CPAP user for the last 23 years it is my opinion that having proper length of hose, and placement, as well as the correct pillow were as important as the interface. Luckily or not, I was born with birth defects, and have had all maner of devices in and around my body for the last 64 years, so I guess you might say I'm used to gadgets.
If location, location, location is important in business, then pressure, pressure, pressure is important to PAP users. First of all find an interface that doesn't feel like it's tearing your face off, then keep tightening the hardgear untill it stops leaking. I just recently had the pressure increased on my CPAP by my Dr., so I had to keep increasing the pressure on my headgear. Once I realized I wasn't going to wake up looking like one of those shrunken heads from the Amazon, and the headaches went away HEY! I was great.
I don't think anyone has all the answers, but having a sense of humor is very important. Goog luck, and God bless to all!!

I went through almost the same thing at almost the same time, and gave up on all of them except the one I had started with - the Activa. About a month ago, I noticed the activa was doing funny stuff and I realized I had worn it for 6 years! Is that a record? But it had stretched out so much I couldn't tighten it up any more, so the search began again. Luckily I discovered the activa lt, so except for a Wisp that is on the way, I am set again for the next 6 years.
