Couldn't you come up with a little more creative name? Dangerous to self diagnose without any EVIDENCE of sleep apnea or low O2 levels. BAM...I don't think your NP is doing you any favor without a real diagnosis.

To the OP: (Diane Frances)

With all due respect, being a back sleeper, mouth breather and waking up every two hours does not a "Sleep Apnea" diagnosis make!

Being a nutritionist you should know that a proper diagnosis by a qualified sleep doctor is mandatory for good health! Nothing less than a Sleep Study in a licsenced facility by a highly qualified sleep doctor will give you what you need if you suspect you have SA.

I might add, that you had better hope that you DON'T have SA if you are as sensitive as you say you are to anything on your face because this is not an easy disorder to have.

Go get your study, then come back here with all of your results and you will get lots of good advice and help if needed. You cannot find a better group of people who are willing to help newbies get started and stay compliant.

The best of luck to you!

Janice

Four years and two months and Knoxville still doesn't have his prescription.
