First, Dawn to get rid of crud in pillows (allergies & 30 yrs of chronic sinusitis have left me with a protein-filled discharge that gunks up my pillows and I assume the oral cushion of my Hybrid...gross).

Next, 7th Generation (eco friendly, scentless, etc) to get rid of Dawn (sets my allergies off).

Lastly, spray with vinegar to remove all soap residues, rinse very well, let air dry.

If I can't get the pillows or oral cushion clear (like nearly every day now with my cold), I boil them in filtered water for a few minutes after the vinegar spray and rinse routine. Then, the parts air dry.

Ditto, here...use it for the nasal pillows, their holder, the hose, and the humidifier. Only the pillows get washed every day, however. The rest perhaps monthly.

I tend not to be the germ-phobic type, and am still very healthy after six years of this kind of casual "housekeeping."
