Just started the pills tonight. Had to take the first two and then rest over the next 4 days. My cruise is not until Nov 15th so I think I have some time. Anyhow, I have SPF 30 sunscreen with is double the SPF what I normally put on my skin. I did not know that antibiotics would cause that. As usual, I have not read the instructions that came with the pills just reading how many to take each day. I am glad that they have given me them since my cough is bad tonight so much so that I won't be able to use the CPAP. A friend of mine had hers go into pneumonia a few weeks ago.rooster wrote: I hope you finish the antibiotics at least one week before the cruise. The most horrific case of sunburn I have ever seen was on a friend whose doctor gave him an antibiotic prescription to take on a cruise. The friend was once a member of Hitler's Youth and the doctor was Jewish. Of course I told the friend the doctor knew exactly what he was doing and got a little revenge.
