I do have a stupid question - i never had to address the reader on my previous pc - is changing the settings something new becasue of vista/64 bit?

No I don't think it's a new requirement. The default setting is for a serial device instead of a USB device and I have a dim recollection of having to change the setting three years when I installed EncorePro on my old laptop.

I do have one more stupid question... I did the download, but can't find the file once everything is downloaded and installed. What the heck am I doing or not doing?

OK - I have pretty much given up at this point! Partially because I can't concentrate enough to do it. My lack of concentartion is not due to OSA, but rather because I am going though much the same as Kiralynx did recently, only its my dad (mom passed about 5 years ago).

We are not sure how much longer he has, but seriously doubt that he will make it to Thanksgiving. It's tough watching them go! But we know that it will be for the best when it does happen.

Any clue where I can download the update to 1.8i. I currently have 1.8 installed. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Please help!
