I got mine at a Walgreens. It was near the band aids and called Nexcare something or other. There are two types. The one in the blue packaging was the paper tape and if I recall correctly, the clear stuff was in red packaging. Anyhoo, I think most people use the paper tape. That's what I've used to tape with.
Also, the cheapest is the 1" wide stuff and it comes packaged as two rolls (at least at the Walgreens here.) There was also some on a roll in a tape dispenser, but it was thinner and more expensive.

I can't recall where I got my 3M Micropore Hypoallergenic Surgical tape!
I found and ordered it online more than a year ago. I got a box of 12 rolls, each roll in it's own blue plastic dispenser. I was surprised at how cheap it was. I think it was about $7 or $8 for all 12!
I can only suggest that you search for it online. Sorry!

After comparing my pre-taping data to my post-taping data, my doc was quite pleased. And he was amused at my description of taping, but thought it was a wise idea for me.

I've found it at AmericaRX.Com. I picked up a couple rolls at the local Walgreens though. Assuming I don't find the perfect FFM and continue to tape, I'm likely to order a larger stash online.

Do you mean that you burp, but the CPAP air forces the burped air back into your gullet? Hmm, that's sounds pretty disgusting. I guess I've never reverse burped. Now watch me start reverse burping tonight....
Perhaps you're having a bit of aerophagia? I had that one or two nights in the beginning, fortunately not since then.

Yup. No difference.

Just another note from a confirmed taper! I find that it makes a huge difference and is quite comfortable. I recently switched from gentle medical paper tape to 3M blue painters tape for "Delicate Places' on advice from the forum and find that it works very well. I was still experiencing some leaks through the paper tape. There are two kinds of blue painter's tape, so be sure to get the right one! The other one hurts to pull off.
BTW, in case any of you have ever wondered, as I did, what would happen should the power go off when you have tape over your mouth and pillows up your nose, you WILL wake up to take the mask off. I just hope I never have to explain to my neighbours what I am doing outside in the middle of the night with blue tape over my mouth when I have to take the dog out. The blue tape pulls a bit so I try not to take it off until morning. I really hope I never have to enter the dating world again!!
I bought a hybrid mask to try, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
Cheers, DaleK

I'm with Spirit. Hybrid is another alternative for mouth breathers trying to get nasal masks to work.
My Mirage Liberty Hybrid is great. Beats taping and no leaks. (well, less leaks, but I'm getting there.)
But whatever you do on your CPAP journey, persistence and patience are needed. This is not an easy thing. Keep trying. It's for a good cause - your health.

Have been on CPAP 3 nights only. I definitely have a little aerophagia, but not enough to be worrisome. Except, I am expelling an occasional little poof of air from the lips, not on every breath. (Of course, who knows what I do when fully asleep.) Is there some amount of this that is reasonable and does not mean I need to tape my mouth shut? I do not mouth-breathe otherwise. This subject never came up in prep-talk with my therapist. It doesn't look like I can check "compliance" myself, but based on physical sensations and how I feel upon awakening I believe most of the pressurized air isgoing down my airway where it belongs.
Having all kinds of other adjustment fun (eye leaks, rainout, stopping leaks without gouging my face) but believe I am gaining ground on those, except may be the mini mini eye leaks at the bridge of the nose. May be time to try the sleep mask idea I found elsewhere on these boards.
