So sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard to imagine the loss felt when a person looses their mate. Someone said, "God gives us memory to that we can have roses in December." You have some wonderful roses to smell in this time of loss.

Larry, so sorry for your loss. How wonderful that you lived as you wished, and that as DoriC said, you packed so many memories into your 16 years.
I'll be thinking of you, try to take comfort in your blended and lovely family now.

In between times she was having heart ablasion surgeries for atrial fribulation. We finally had to buy a house due to her health. She never complained. If you met her-you loved her. It was our second marriage, we met at a singles dance. She had 3 children & I had 3. We have 14 Grandkids & 1 Great Grand Daughter. We would have been married 16 Yrs. in April. She was an awesome wife & my very best friend. She loved life like no other person I ever met. She always worried more about others than herself. She would give anyone anything she had.I could go on almost endlessly, but I think you get an idea of what my "Rosebud" was like. Brenda-thanks for asking-it was good for me to tell you about her. Thanks, Larry..
Larry, I believe that you were so fortunate to have had these years with this wonderful woman. You've suffered a great loss, and there are no words to express my condolences. Thank you for sharing this with us.

If you can find a local grief group like GriefShare (sponsored by a number of churches of all denominations), you may want to attend. I find it helps me with the loss of my spouse. But most of the attendees are women. Men tend to come once or twice and then disappear.
