So sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard to imagine the loss felt when a person looses their mate. Someone said, "God gives us memory to that we can have roses in December." You have some wonderful roses to smell in this time of loss.

Larry, so sorry for your loss. How wonderful that you lived as you wished, and that as DoriC said, you packed so many memories into your 16 years.

Larry, I believe that you were so fortunate to have had these years with this wonderful woman. You've suffered a great loss, and there are no words to express my condolences. Thank you for sharing this with us.

My Thanks to all of you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. We had a beautiful Memorial service for Rosy yesterday. I'm back home now, and ready to start moving forward. Thanks so much.

If you can find a local grief group like GriefShare (sponsored by a number of churches of all denominations), you may want to attend. I find it helps me with the loss of my spouse. But most of the attendees are women. Men tend to come once or twice and then disappear.
