I am not famous but I got in to a sleep study quickly and Dr. there that morning to discuss results and left with masks. So it probably depends on your medical standards in your area. GL

In Massachusettts wehn a dr declares one "legally blind" they have to surrender their driver's license

We don't have anything like that in the States, do we? Except for maybe people with CDLs?
I'm pretty sure we don't. Closest we have is the Endorsements/Restrictions listed on our driver's licenses, but since they can't say "must have used cpap previous night" then they just don't have anything like that...
Really? What happens if someone were to lose much of their vision such that they are a hazard on the road. Is there no mechanism to require a physician to report the condition so that the DMV (or whomever) can remove their driver's license in order to protect the public at large?
There are any number of significant medical conditions that can result in impairment, or risk of impending impairment that would make it too hazardous for you to drive. Surely there is a mechanism to get such drivers off the road.

I like that. Most doctors are horrible drivers.
What about the blind person's driver's license?

DoriC, You and I should not be allowed to go out on the town together. The town already has enough big problems.
