I agree with illinigal - give your wife a chance to be supportive.

As for my husband, he says the machine is MUCH quieter than my snoring ever was. And he doesn't miss me not breathing and then gasping and gacking for air numerous times a night.

And if you're concerned about "other" bed-related activities. Uh...don't put the mask and hose on and turn on your machine until you're actually ready to go to sleep. It's intuitive, really.

Heh. My husband said, "If it helps, use it. I'll manage." The "noise" hasn't bothered him a bit. (Now, me swearing because I've gotten rigged out and then realized I left my data card up front... that will wake him up!)

I was worried about the Dachshund Duo... two standard long-hair dachshunds who are VERY protective. I could just see them deciding my machine was dangerous, or that they had to rescue me from the hose.

Nope. They took it in stride, too.

Knowing it helps makes a big difference!
