Still waiting to feel like doing anything more than before... but I am hopeful it will happen one day.

Nothing really yet, but tonight will mark only my 7th night on CPAP. I went grocery shopping yesterday though, and I was amazed that my cart was full of fruit, vegetables, meat, etc. and no junk food! I've had a terrible time staying away from sweets over the last three years. So perhaps I'll be able to lose some of the pounds I put on during my fight to stay awake.

All I want to do is sleep. I've never been so tired before.

I'm still struggling as I'm only into this 6 weeks, but it was great to see what's in store for us newbies.

OK...have one.
For my 40th birthday last week I climbed a mountain with my son and some family
members. We made a day of it, and it was a birthday I won't soon forget, as the memory
of conquering that climb and the view are beyond words. Also enjoyed one of the most
beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen.

As mundane as it seems, the activity I enoy most is driving without feeling that I am going to kill myself, my family or an innocent victim in another car. There have been many improvements, but the driving situation pre-CPAP was dangerous.

Good question, Catnap.

I'm not there yet with my therapy, but life has definitely improved. Obviously, being able to sleep without suffocating is a wonderful thing. And driving without fear of nodding off is a huge sigh of relief and offers a lot more freedom to go places and do things. But I wouldn't classify either of those things as "favorite activities" of mine.

I guess the one activity I've resumed that I really DO enjoy is cooking. I'm cooking for myself every day again, and I know I'm eating in a much healthier way, as a result, than I was previously. I'm not so exhausted that I can't prepare a decent meal for dinner. I'm enjoying eating good food again, instead of whatever was handy and easy.

Now, if I could just find a kitchen clean-up fairy...
