Link, That gave me a good laugh. Thanks for giving me one of the few jokes I can finally send to my teenage granddaughters. This one was not too hot, not too cold, but just right!

i'll bet the job LinkC had was Charmin Packer, I think they fired him for over-squeezing the Charmin. Jim

Well, LinkC looks distinguished under any circumstances.
But there's something about that picture that somehow hints that authenticity just MAY be an issue here... Gee, what could it possibly be?
I can't quite put my finger on it...

It appears there are at least 8 fingers on the Charmin!
Then there's the story about the man with 6 fingers on one hand...and it's NOT one DoriC can tell her granddaughters!

It's almost impossible to know what a person's post means We only know what meaning we give to the words in the post. But, there are number of threads here, that start out in a serious manner - and end-up with witty posts. Does that mean when you have the problem of sleep apnea, you have enough troubles already, and look for the humurous side of life? That works for me; I'd rather laugh than cry.

Yeah... stories and pictures with the "finger motif" can be kinda tricky. So here's one Rooster posted a while back that sure seems child-friendly at first glance:
Rooster titled that one "The CPAPTALK Gang".

Now, THAT's hilarious! And he knows EXACTLY what he's doing, too! I want my grandkids to be just like him...
This one's getting passed around as we speak!

A deer with narcolepsy walks up to a guy with with sleep apnea sitting on the ground.Thirty minutes later they wake up and walk away.
This apnea thing should be a comedy gold mine.
It has to be...
It can't be anything else...
If we have it we should make fun of it to make sure it is always beat down and we control it.
It should never win.

ok - then I guess my credibility is shot! I know that my posts contain errors - grammar, spelling, you name it. However, I think i get my point across and that pretty much anyone can understand me. I don't have the time to necessarily go back and look for errors. I also find it a little strange that folks here will judge someone on that and take them any less seriously. I know many people that may not have the best writing skills, and not only can I understand them - but I would trust them and know that if they tell me something, they have either experienced it personally or have researched the topic thouroughly.
I wish we were all as perfect as we think we are.

I'm under the distinct impression our fallible species entails two phenotypes: the perfectly imperfect who commingle with the imperfectly perfect...

I don't know if it's because I'm thick, or Aussie (no, they're not the same!), but can anyone tell me what a 'charmin' is? I don't get it!

2 flamingoes, I believe your credibility is still intact. I don't think anyone who responded re credibility issues with correct grammar was referring to social or informal situations such as this - I certainly was not. On this forum we're all tired and/or frustrated enough more often than not, and a cry for help should not be subject to the grammar police! I believe we're all very accepting here, and accept the person and the message rather than the dressing. However, in formal or corporate situations for some people it sometimes is difficult not to initially judge by appearances - again, not the best way to go, but perhaps human. Easy to overcome or circumvent, but still, can be there!

I'm in a quandary, I think I am perfectly imperfect.
Or, could I be imperfectly perfect?

Charmin is a major brand of toilet paper. Mr. Whipple was used in advertisements for the product for many years, but not recently.
The Charmin was so soft that he could not resist squeezing it -- hence the line "please don't squeeze the Charmin."
