Do errors damage the credibility of the writer?
My question is: Does a writer's credibility allow him to do more damage with his errors?

I'm glad I'm not as perfect as I think I am, or else I wouldn't be able to stand being around myself.

The Charmin was so soft that he could not resist squeezing it -- hence the line "please don't squeeze the Charmin."
That's pruny old Mr. Whipple in 5aces' doctored photo...right behind the dashing young handsome face he chose to stand in for the old buzzard.
Personally, I always found Whipple's tissue fetish a bit creepy.

Mechanical and grammatical errors only damage the credibility of the writer when the writer has a poor editor.
