I have been running Windows 7 since prior to the public beta release and anything that runs on Vista will run on Win7, with a few exceptions:
1. Security such as encrpytion is running algorithms that do not meet the latest CNG versions.
2. Games that were written for DOS
I would like to get ResScan 3.7 as well. Actually I would like to understand why this isn't part of my customer relations with ResMed? Why can't I just VPN into the ResMed website and have them give me the data with explaination. I have been in the software business for quite awhile and there isn't any reason for them to not to allow this and it is to their advantage in case of software failure or security breach on their software (unlikely as that might be).

Easy answer. ResMed does not want to do business with patients.
I don't mean that sarcastically. I called for software help and was told they would not help me because I am a patient.
Look at cpap.com and see if you can buy ResScan 3.7. ResMed won't give it to them becasue they sell to patients.
I don't like it but I'm sure there is some business reason somewhere.

ResScan allows one to change settings on the machine. It's designed so that patients do not have to bring the machine to the doctor's office, only the card.
ResMed does not want patients to be able to change those settings. Hence, no software for patients.

Respironics does not provide support for their patient version software. I have no complaint about Resmed not providing patient support for software intended for professional use only - but - I AM disappointed that they had no interest in an obvious glitch in this particular device. That's been unlike them in the past.
