I guess I will say this because I'm going through a dilemma with it right now, but the first thing that came to my mind was, what about mouth breathing with something like this? If the tongue is no longer blocking the airway, you do what you're not supposed to do, which is mouth breathe.

I learned so much today by going to Dr. Sue's web site. Very, very enlightening. The key to health is to breathe through the nose. This supports mouth breathing, as far as I can see. And I never thought OSA was caused by the tongue blocking the airways. This is the first I'ved heard of that being the cause. It's usually the solft palate or collapsing of the throat during sleep causing airway obstruction, or the neurological cause where the brain in REM sleeps tells the body to stop breathing.

I don't know...doesn't seem like a solution to me. But, then again, who am I but just a person who has OSA?

There are a number of possible causes for obstructions. This product seems to ignore any possible cause save the tounge. I have not read every page, but what I did read didn't mention some key features I'd expect from a product like this, such as "FDA Approved" and "Effectively Treats OSA and/or Central Sleep Apneas".
