And it's cleverly painted white---to blend in as an ordinary icecap---should reconnaissance planes from the Banana Republic just happen by.
Clever...
VERY clever!

DSM, no the pic was right, and that is the hospital being destroyed. I was just pointing out that the book was set at WSH. At least, my kool-aid addled brain thinks that. Maybe I'm wrong.

Photographic evidence that
bananapneas really do exist. Thank you, Rooster.
Thank you for submitting what we might aptly call
"Exhibit B" to the court of public opinion. That's "B" as in bananas... or bananapneas... or breakthrough... as in belated breathing breakthrough... of the medical variety.
Things are finally starting to make sense....

You, sir, are the cream of the crop!
Or the top of the crop ....also known around our parts of the jungle as "The Top Kop"!

...except in the ant colonies where your reputation may sag just a teeny bit.

Ah! One of the Banana Republic's submarines... down at their top-secret combination ship-building/tourism yard.
A nice little reconnaissance gem. Well done!

A submarine? I thought it was a reconnaissance space pod from the simian mother ship as it orbits the planet in preparation for the take-over.
