Okay. -SWS, thanks for helping to clarify some of this thru my thick skull!!! It is so very much appreciated. ResScan does show the fluctuation in the graphs AND the reported 95th percentile, Median and Maximum pressures when the PS is set to less that the difference between IPAP and EPAP. I just haven't figured out how the Calculated Pressure is of any real benefit.
For instance, in some early bouts of frustration I set IPAP from the first titration (13) and EPAP from the second titration (5):
IPAP 13, EPAP 5, PS 5 the 95th percentile was 9.5, Median 9.5, Maximum 10.4; Calculated pressure 95th percentile IPAP 12.9, 95th percentile EPAP 7.0
IPAP 13, EPAP 5, PS 4 the 95th percentile was 8, Median 9.6, Maximum 10.6; CP 95th percentile IPAP 11.6 and 95th percentile EPAP 7.6
IPAP 13, EPAP 5, PS 3.8 the 95th percentile was 8.3, Median 9.9, Maximum 10.7; CP 95th percentile IPAP 11.8 and 95th percentile 8
IPAP 13, EPAP 5, PS 3.6 the 95th percentile was 9, Median 10.6, Maximum 11; CP 95th percentile IPAP 12.4, 95th percentile EPAP 8.8
I'll say one thing: it is one heck of a whole lot easier to find your bestest pressure w/a straight APAP than w/these darn VPAP Autos!!!! Sheesh!
Thanks again to everyone for the Congrats and Best Wishes, they sure are appreciated and really warm this old broad's heart. (((hugs))) to you all.

Slinky wrote:Oh my goshes!! How could I have forgotten? Yesterday was my FIRST ANNIVERSARY on my Resmed VPAP Auto, my first anniversary on a bi-level. Sheesh!
And I still am not grasping how in the devil this thing works as an auto!! It sure seems to be working as a straight bi-level in when in auto mode.
LOL, "CONGRATS" Slinky and Thank You for all your help and support you give on the forum, keep up the good work!

Oh h*ll!!! I FORGOT to count!!! Get out the stop watch! We'll have to count how many steps my Slinky goes down in a minute. Then multiple that by 60. And then multiply that by .... 2,691.75 hours. FUDGE! I don't own a stop watch, not even a watch w/a second hand. *sigh*

Hey Slinky enjoy the late winter storm we are sending your way. It's hitting Chicago now and should be getting to you soon.

No! No! GerryK! KEEP IT! We had a sunny 50 degrres today. The water in the horse pasture has finally dried up.
Did I mention one of my birthday gifts (earlier this month) was all of the 7 Ian Tyson CDs still available? Am so enjoying them. And a Mark Neslelr CD, his first one. Really enjoying that one too. Looking now for the second one Mark made. And for the re-issue of Ian's "Great Speckled Bird" album on CD. We so enjoyed that TV show, "Nashville North", then "Nashville Now" and finally just the "Ian Tyson Show". But then we enjoyed the Sha Na Na TV show too whilst it lasted. *sigh*

Congratulation, Slinky.
I was reading -SWS's description of IPAP riding the EPAP on a Resmed, and had a picture of horse (EPAP) jumping a hurdle, and automatically raising its rider (IPAP)....

Right on, Ozij!!!! Cross country riding at its best! Well, I suppose Stadium Jumping would be the better choice since it is more "disciplined".
