I just got my cost back from the insurance company for the titration study that I did in June. I was surprise that my sleep clinic tried to charge several thousand for my titration test but the insurance would allow about $1700. Which means that I will have to pay around $340. My initial sleep study only cost about $400. Are these normal costs for a sleep study and a titration study? I don't understand why there would be so much of a difference. The only difference is that I had a CPAP on for a titration night and the RT tweeked it 2-3 times.

You're initial sleep study only cost $400 total? Or was that $400 your cost? If it was $400 total that's GREAT! My initial sleep study cost about $2300. Quite a big difference wouldn't you say?

Wow only 400 mines was 3000 for the 1st sleep study and 3000 for the 2nd sleep study with Cpap titration. all togther it cost my insurnace 6000 dollars for both and I didn't have to pay nothing out of pocket. Then they paid for my machine I dont know how much that was.
