[quote="lola"]Thanks for the welcome
I'mSewTired - I'm just going by what the technician told me, I'll have to do a bit more research on this. It's good to hear that you have succesfully used the Swift with a higher pressure. Will have to find out why the tech thinks 11 is the limit. ("This one goes up to 11!")

Ozij,
I can always rely on you to say the right thing. Makes sense. So at least I know it's not leaks, but just the sound of more pressure trying to enter.
Has anyone told you, you make a lot of sense ALL THE TIME??? Thanks again.

I am also new. Had my SA test the night before last. It was a split night study so I didn't get a full night sleep on the machine but I did notice a difference yesterday.
Anyhow, looking forward to learning a lot more from all of you and hope to be well enough informed when I finally get the prescription to get a machine.

Lori:
Glad you are still going great!! no i don't have ANY problems with the SWIFT! As long as it remains the most LEAK FREE interface i have ever had no noise bothers me, but yes it gets slightly noiser at the higher pressures it seems to me. also ref. the marks on your face from the straps, try adjusting the mask with the back straps first then the top straps-this allowed the mask to drop a little and put it in a slightly lower (different) place on the side of my face and may work for you! also you can try the large nasal pillows and then you can really adjust the straps much lighter!
Hope it helps!

UFO13,
Thanks as always for your great advice. I will give those straps an adjustment tonight and see if it works. Don't you love the Swift???
