One other thing--the Swift LT for HER Version--comes with Petite, small and medium nasal pillows so you might want to select the "for her" version.

Do you know if the Swift LT "for her" version will fit a large head, or is it made for a smaller head?

Hi There---the head gear is the same size as the SWIFT LT--- the "FOR HER" version is a nice light blue color and it comes with the smaller nasal pillows---so I hope I have answered your question,

Thanks, Carrie. Yes, it answered my question. I couldn't really find that answer about the headgear size when I checked online. It sounds perfect for me and when I order a new mask, that's the one I'll get. I really like the Optilife but I'd like to try something else, given its high reviews.

I like that the back strap is adjustable. The back strap on the Optilife isn't.

Hi ML--yes, the OPTI LIFE is a great mask --but I can tell you that you will love the SWIFT LT or the "FOR HER" version way better!! LOL! I LOVE the mask and it is so easy to clean and put on and off!! I hope you get one as soon as possible so you can enjoy it as much as we do!!

You know, when it comes to headgear a little or a lot too large it is a simple matter to put in a fold to make it fit and hold the fold w/velcro until you get it just right, then snip w/the scissors and velcro the cut ends back together. Works great and holds for the life of the headgear in my experience. Gotta love that velcro. It can mend a bevy of sins!

Ok, Slinky, for those of us who remain somewhat cognitively impaired, can you graphically explain how you use the velcro to do this? Are you butting the cut ends of the strap or overlapping them?...and are you gluing the velcro to the strap somehow, or what?

I'm afraid I can't do illustrations for you. 'Puters, scanners and I aren't on the friendliest of terms. *sigh*

Which ever strap or straps are too long just don your mask, then pinch that strap about the center into a fold that makes the fit comfortable, lay the fold over to one side, have an already cut strip of velcro over the fold to hold the fold in place. The velcro sticks handily to the headgear strap and holds the fold in place. Sleep w/it like that for a night or two. If you have to adjust the fold larger or smaller just pull the velcro strip and adjust the fold as needed and replace the velcro strip holding that new fold in place and sleep w/it for a few nights. When you've found the right amount of fold cut the entire amount of the fold out of the headgear strap and use the velcro strip to put the two headgear strap ends back together end to end. That velcro strip will hold that "cut" in place virtually indefinitely.

The "fix" I did like this w/the center strap of my Simplicity held for some 9 months or so until I got a new Simplicity. The old one is packed away in case I should need it - all fitted, fixed, and ready to be donned and used again if necessary.

The other way to do it is to just make one cut in the center of the too long strap and then just overlap the ends and hold the overlap in place w/a strip of velcro. That is what I did w/the second Simplicity. I was just a little faint-hearted about cutting the headgear strap w/my first one which is why I did the fold bit.
