The head RT for the Sacramento Apria Store was just at my house. I gave him a copy of a waiver I wrote up for Apria when I got my SV. I don't want to put the reason on the forum, but it said I would be responsible for setting my "numbers" and I would work with my Pulmonologist while doing it.

He was glad to get it. He knew I changed the data periodically and I personally felt it was not right for Apria to be liable for something they had no control over. Soooooooooo if they take one of our machines in for exchange, and it has different settings, they know why. Or at least they SHOULD know why.

Didn't someone call me an apnea Nazi in a post this week?
My wife just says, "Obnoxious".

Please don't Babbette. The Nazi's were cruel murderers. They banged living babies' heads against railroad cars.

Now now.... A little humour..... On another forum, I proudly proclaim myself a Costume Nazi.

Nazis bad. Yes. Agreed. Not a holocaust denier.

Just irreverant to the end.

WELL, alright, is it rolling Bob???

As it should be.

Now, can you imagine one person,
walking into their DME, sitt'n down, and resetting their cpap....
and walk'n out....
....they'd just think he was really sick.

Two people, can you imagine two people,
walking into their DME, sitt'n down, and resetting their cpap's....in sync....
and walk'n out....
...they'd just think they were crazy.

Now, three people.....three people...
walking into their DME, sitt'n down, and resetting their cpap's....
and walk'n out....
....they'd think it was an organization.......

....50...can you imagine 50 people a day...yea, I said 50 people a day,
walking into their DME, sitt'n down, and resetting their cpap's....
and walk'n out....
...they'd think it was a movement.....

and my friends, that's what it is......

what a journey this simple thread that I started has taken: from trying to get to the bottom of why RTs on this forum and on http://www.sleepguide.com claim that changing settings is illegal, to Nazi Germany! 2,200 + page views later, it's still going strong.

"guest" is just messing with us... no need to rehash all the reasons why we don't think it's illegal

And I think saying that was clearly a "sin."

Interesting......this person came to the forum in search of product help (advice).

Now, we seem to be getting "legal" advice from that same person.

Ain't that always the way with "sin," Den? One just seems to lead to another:

Where do this people come from!? Like this one from Polymar—As if they dive into the river to tell those who have swam the length of the Nile that they have passed the swimming exam so they now can tell us how to swim! Amazing!!
