Well maybe the VPAP is different....

But the Australian S8's and S8II's all support 5 nights of detailed data on the card.
The American S*'s support 5 nights but the American S8II's seem to only support 4 nights according to the clinical manual.

I have a VPAP S and I can Confirm that I only get ONE day of data off my card. The fact sheet below says 2 days, but the current day is always blank for me. If I download the card before noon it doesn't get that nights data. I need to wait until after noon for download the data.

It seems to me that It depends on how long the nights are. I seem to capture more "4 hour" nights than I do "8 hour" nights.
I'm pretty sure I used to down load 4 or 5 nights at a time when I first started CPAP. Now that I'm used to it and I'm sleeping longer,
I don't get as many. I recently missed one nights data because I waited one day too long to down load.
I have not tested this theory "scientifically".

Have you checked to make sure your VPAP is set to the correct local time?

I asked you in the previous thread on this topic to specifically report on what you saw while a data download was in progress, but I never saw a reponse on that.

Note particularly that screen is showing a download in progress on the fifth detailed session.

This is a download from an S8 Autoset Spirit (aka Vantage) via a ResSCan card, but from all that I have been told by Resmed and S8 II Autoset users locally.... they see exactly the same thing!

So, what DO you see?

No need to get snippy, I thought the pics I posted in this thread showing the dl steps and results would explain...and as we've figured out in this thread and I have confirmed today... Just as the clinician's manual states, although the machine stores 5 days it only dl's 4 days detail to card. Also have to dl before noon or the current date causes 1 day's detail to fall off.

My apologies if I sounded snippy in my post, it was NOT meant that way..this was before we figure out the Elite II's only hold 4 on the card...and I really was hoping you could see from my screen shots that showed the download being initiated and the results that I may have been doing something wrong and let me know. Instead your response...well.....my comment to you yesterday was based on the fact that I am 54 years old, do tech support for a living and really don't like being spoken to as if I am a child or an idiot. I don't normally get offended easily, I was caught on a bad day apparently. I did not see your screenshot as I was on my iphone and it did not download the pictures....the download on mine shows 4 days being downloaded where yours shows 5.

If you download the card before noon, you will get 4 days. That "blank" current day you are getting is for the day you download if it is after nooon, but before you start that night's session.

Could get super DME, to bring the "M" back, and take a chance on getting 3 or 7 days full data, depending on how it feels. Jim

Nah, I like the Elite II..I'll just schedule my downloads for 3 times a week, Mon-Wed-Fri and won't miss it then.

Hey Debjax.
I have a machine that records more data sometimes, but it sometimes shuts itself off and turns back on when I am sleeping. You wanna trade or do you like what you have?
