That is what I'm referrring to, Dori. When you click "report spam" you get window with two options: "Delete this message" or "no, I made a mistake". The final delete is done by admins.

There IS one vacuum that WILL pull up everything...even all the way UNDER the carpet--the Royal Powercast 9000 series. They are hard to find now, but you can get lucky. They were originally a $1,000 upright, you can find them new for $159. The reason they fell out of favor is because they weigh a TON!! I mean a TON, but that's the secret. I'm a vacuum freak and I've tried them all...the Royal Powercast will get those carpets cleaner than you ever saw before. I've cleaned up behind the supposed "best" vacuums and I"ll have a substantial amount of dirt and dust in the Powercast that was left behind by the others...so much for "best" overpriced vacs. The Royal REALLY sucks. It has a cogged belt and a huge motor. You can find them at flea markets or sometimes on the net...worth the search.

The Royal Powercast 9000 looks strangely like a Kirby.

It might pull more than most others, but no vacuum can pull everything out from under the carpet and pad once it gets there...so...no carpet for me...<grin>

I helped my brother do some work on a used condo he bought for his first house. We went into check the place. He had decided he would need to replace the carpet. So I had the bright idea of not letting the day go to waste and suggested we tear out the carpet at least. We were both sick for 2 days.
OTOH, I noticed my CPAP machine was pulled about 4 inches out of place this morning. I woke one morning a few months ago with the machine on the edge of the nightstand.
I think I will be compromising and improvising a small pedestal with some straps of some sort.

Hubby is building us "custom" bedside tables for our machines and other stuff (alarm clocks, etc.) and the shelves to hold the CPAPs will have something to "keep them in place". In the meantime, I have used zipties to attached and "lock" the hose to posts on our headboard between the machine and the hanger..if we pull, the zipties have the hose locked into place and we are not pulling on the machine.

Well, yesterday I had my moved my machine and unplugged it....and thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to try C-FLEX off for a bit.
There was still a noise, but it seemed less distracting now. But, after about an hour I was up and having trouble breathing...so I had to turn C-Flex back on....
Off to move some numbers around in my budget to rationalize running up more debt....

Just looked at my data.... during that short period where I tested CPAP with no C-Flex....AHI was 9.2 (6.9 OA/2.3 H). AHI 2.7 for the remainder of the night (with most of the events happen at the start....)
Last night was a good night....only slept 7:20...I had set my alarm to sleep longer, but I was up before it and decided to just get out of bed.... Though partly because there was a funky smell.... Probably time to clean everything again....

Did you find it difficulty to exhale w/o cflex? I wonder if some have that problem and contribute to more events and feeling bad?

Ya, I did find it harder to exhale, though I didn't think it was too hard...though I guess once I went to sleep, my body had different ideas.
