Re: DME Troubles

I called my insurance company, and i asked how often i can get a new machine, and i was told 1 per year under my plan. So i think that a extended warranty is not worth it. From everything ive read ResMed makes a high quality machine. Ill just stick with the 2 year no questions asked warranty.
Now i just have to wait for the DME i chose to work with to do a insurance check on me and i can get my machine hopefully early next week.
The DME did insist that i rent the machine for $15 a month for a minimum of 2 months, to make sure it works for me. Im assuming this is normal?? They will take the $30 and apply it to the price of the machine when i buy it so im not going to loose it.
