My husband has just started on the CPAP and is using the Quattro mask. He doesn't sleep with his false teeth in, so the nasal masks I use don't really work very well for him. Does anyone have any experience with different masks without their dentures?

Why doesn't he sleep with the dentures in?

Reason for asking is because I might have to get dentures and I would definitely have to sleep with them in as I now sleep with an upper bridge in my mouth.

He said when he got them his dentist told him to take them out at night and put them in the Polident or whatever at night. He never questioned it and has done well with them for about 10 years. He has never had a problem with them at all. So doesn't want to change that.

Tell him to try the Headrest - it's nasal pillows mask that seals around the nares of the nose so will not be affected by any changes in the shape of the face. Sealing around the nares is actually much, much easier.
