Ah okay. No, you are correct... no assistance from the government for use hoseheads in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Unless they have private or group insurance that will cover them.

Is it worth pointing out that CPAP machines and accessories qualify for the medical expense tax credit? So the after-tax out-of-pocket cost will be slightly less than the posted price, so long as you qualify for a tax refund (that is, so long as you are a taxpayer).

I too have Great West Life as my insurer, and also have the $2000 provision. Do you know if they would actually cover two masks as part of the initial purchase?

You never quite know how they will react to a claim. However, I can confirm that I purchased two masks (about 2 weeks apart) and submitted them on the same claim as my initial purchase of an xpap . ADP paid for its share of the cost of xpap but paid nothing towards the cost of either mask. Great West Life paid 100% of the cost of the two masks. They also paid 100% when I bought a third mask about 6 months later.

GWL has also covered the cost of replacement hoses and a humidifier tank for my M Series.

The only problems I've had with GWL is that they have refused to cover the cost of filters and shipping for items that are purchased on-line. Their calculation of exchange rates to the USA also may not be what you hoped it would be.
