Tape & Strips

Post by Sleepy Boy » Sat Jan 17, 2009 6:52 am

I was looking in the "Our Wisdom" section about mouth leaks. It kinda reads like taping isn't really all that safe to do. I have been doing that & the dental strips. I have had no problems, but still get leaks. Is the dental cream better than the strips? I cant get to sleep very good with the tape & the strips leak in the corners. Don't know if I could stand a full face mask, but that seems to be "Our Wisdom's" answer to the leak problem. Thanks, Larry..

For mouth leaks a full face mask would probably be the best thing. I find that a nasal mask and tape work just fine for me. It does take time to get used to taping, just as it took time to adjust to the mask and machine. I think everyone should have 1 full face mask that works for them to use during times of congestion/illness.
