I would get the smart card reader running, download some data and generate some reports in Encore Pro, once that is all working then trying to use MyEncore, not before. It will be looking for all kinds of info that has yet to be loaded into the database. "Resource" is a totally generic term and could refer to almost anything in the system, so in human terms the error was about as explicit as "something is missing". If you get the ducks lined up in the right order this stuff installs and works very easily.

Thanks for the information! Hopefully, I'll get my Remstar Auto tomorrow afternoon and get my first set of data by the weekend.

I have uploaded my data from the Smart Card to display daily reports; however, when I attempt to select a range of dates I am locked in to the current day's reports. What can I do to view a data compiled over the course of the week? Any help much appreciated!

[quote="slumberer"]I just ordered Encore Pro from CPAP.com. Will I receive the current (5.x) version?

They told me that this software is on a 2-3 week backorder when I ordered my Remstar Auto w/CFLEX.

Any comments?

Slumberer, are you talking about Encore Pro or MyEncore?

The Encore Pro. I think I need to set my Encore Pro utility to not erase the older data so I can view of compilation of the daily data in detail. I understand that each card will hold about a week's worth of detailed data; I like to upload my data to the Encore Pro program daily but when I attempt to select a range of days from the file manager on the Encore Pro I am unable. Hopefully by changing the default setting that erases daily data I will be able to view a weeks worth of detailed data.

These are Den's directions to "Not Erase":

There's a program/file in C:\Program Files\Respironics\Encore Pro\Utilities called "Don't erase data after download.reg". Do a double-click on it and it will come up with a confirmation box.....click "Yes" and that should keep your card from being automatically erased, but you will still have to tell the program not to erase the card after you download the data (when it prompts you). Or, it at least gives you the option of erasing it or not."

That should do it for you.

Thank you, Linda...I did just that. Now I hopefully will be able to analyze the detail data as a trend/summary.

Well, I've loaded the updated 1.5 Encore Pro to go with the Respironics Bi-pap pro2 Auto and now My Encore will not open.

It won't open for me either. The message I get:

Unable to access the EncorePro database.
MyEncore will close...
Index #0
Message: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Procedure: ConnectionOpen (Connect()).

BTY, I have EncorePro open when I get the message.

Thanks.
I had the same problem...

I finally read this whole forum and realized that Derek already addressed the problem. I loaded it and it works great.

Now I will play with it and generate some usage reports.

One question I have is how frequently do you download the data from the smartcard into the PC if you want to capture all of the detailed data?

Every 5 days?

MyEncore, on the Preferences page, is divided into 2 sections. Click "most recent ______ days", and fill in 30 or 60 (in both sections). Does that make any difference?

software question

Is there any difference between the software sold here https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... eader.html

and the free download? Here
http://software.respironics.com/cgi-bin ... ge=[Encore]

I am not confusing this with the free MyEncore software which is different from the above.

The only difference is that one is free and one is not (I'm fairly positive). You might ask CPAP.com if they have the software to work in your Card Reader.

Also, the free download is Encore Pro 1.5i (a newer version).
