I certainly will not speak for others.
But, I do not put my location in any online profile simply for security reasons.
As an almost victim (attempted identity theft), your location is just another piece of the puzzle that could help someone identify who you really are.

I live off hwy 12 which takes you into Missoula. Quite a ways from I-90.
